my new favorite place

so the day after i got back from Hartland, i ran away from home. well not exactly i kind of got kicked out. my girlfriends and i had planned a girls weekend to go to cambria and had it planned for months, well to make a long story short, i found out i was going to Hartland 3 weeks before we where going. so when i got home from Hartland i told my hubby " nope iam not going to cambria, there is way to much to do and i just got home", well to make even a longer story shorter, he told me that if i go to cambria with the girls, i can go get a pedi ( which was sooo needed after a week of camping a flip-flops) so i did, and had a blast. it was Mary, Keir, Karin and i, we left sat morn and came back Sunday night. we had a great drive up there talking about everything under the sun ( including you, j/K ) got up there unpacked and then went to this AMAZING little restaurant and sat out on the patio, after that we took a stroll around town and then went back to Marys house and got ready for dinner. Marys hubby had everything ready for us at there fav restaurant, we got to sit out side and watch the sun set over the beach. that weekend was the best, great friends, great food, great memory's and great pictures and if your lucky i might post them someday ;)

Hartland

so our church goes to a youth summer camp every year and as you all know counselors are needed, well you will never guess who the counselors where this year, give up, it was brian and I. we had such a blast. i had 7 girls ( including my carlee) and he had 6 boys. my wonderful mother in law and auntie helped out with my other two little ones and are extremely thankful they helped out. this was mine and my hubby's first experience at a christian camp. it took us a few to get a hold of the whole "camp" thing, but we had a blast. there where tons of things for the kids to do and they provided great worship and chapel time. we cant not wait for next year.

well we have a full blown fun house at the waymires right know. the day we got back from our pismo trip we picked up little luke ( he is know 2 months) and little isaac ( he is 13 months). we are having a great time with the boys and my kids are such a huge help.

our pismo trip

we were able to get out of town a few weeks at the end of June and went to pismo. we had such a great time. we took our friends son with us so ty had some fun playing with another boy. we went to some amazing tide-pools with our friends the butts and found all kids of creatures, we even found a baby octopus. the trip was pretty laid back and we tried to relax as much as possible because we knew when we got back it was going to be a bit crazy. the day we left to go to pismo we got to pick up two of the cutest little boys. after i picked them up i went to target to get them some things and then had to drop them off at respite ( which is another foster family house). we all knew it was about to get crazy at the waymire house so we all just took the time to really enjoy the sweet, calm moments in pismo..






oh yeah forgot to mention that a family that brian grew up with was staying at the same campground as us. they are truly amazing. they have i think 17 kids, five of there own and the rest are foster kids or former foster kids they have adopted. they rock. check out there van with all there stick figures

lets go back a bit

awww, i know i know i have not been a good blogger lately, but we have been crazy busy. so i never mentioned little Mikey on my blog so i thought this would be a great time. As most of you know we do foster care. well 6 days before we had to give up our little "B" we got this darling little 3 yr old. we where told we would have him for at least 6 months, but i don't think they ever really know. we only had him for 1 month and he was such a great kid. he really took to Brian and got along with my kids pretty good
