sooo, we love her..... now what???

Its going to be 3 months on the 8th since we have been blessed with having baby Brianna join us at the Waymire house. Her mom has seen her once and has either been a now show or m.i.a. We just got the D.N.A results back so we now know who her father is, and it just so happens that he is in prison. Appearently he really wants to be a daddy and as we speak his mom ( who is living with her daughter) is trying to get brianna while her daddy is in jail. so where does that leave us you ask, well, we are hanging on to Gods promises. We know that he has amazing plans for our family, and we know that his plans will turn out for his glory. This whole foster parent role has really tought me a lot. I have learned to never take for granted my own kids again and also how much grace God has shown me in my own life, which helps to remind me that i need to show her parents lots of grace as well. Brianns mom called the social worker yesterday and said she wanted to start doing visits again so tomarrow its back to the visitation room. i was totaly considering going down to goodwill and buying the ugliest outfit ever to put on the baby ( because you know when the mom sees how darn cute this girl is she is going to wanna "play house", and i really didnt want that) but we are going to doll her up, as always so maybe her mom will realize what she is missing and maybe, just maybe she will get her act together.

well besides all that mess, we are all doing great. we are getting ready for our big easter break vacation. we are going to hoilster hills, and its soooo pretty up there ( ill post lots of pics). the kids are awesome. carlees starts softball up here pretty soon and bridgitte and ty start soccer, and of course brian is coaching ALL three. My hubby, got to love him. Another fun thing we are starting is our bible study group will be meeting over her on wed nights for now on, so iam excited to be able to have our groupies over. Oh yeah, we are also having a yardsale ( the day before our vacation) so that should be good. well thats it for know

i feel pretty guilty serving me kidos cereal every morning and being that iam not getting much sleep these days and i dont have the energy to make a hot homemade breakfast i decided to go shopping, and what did i find..... omigosh, i found the BEST muffin mix in the world. have you ever been to fresh and easy?? i have been there twice and iam still not to impressed with them, but they have the best blueberry muffin mix ever, and soooo easy to make. so next time your there pick up a box, you wont be sorry

a picnic at the park

we had such a nice time. it was our family and my sil and bil and there 4 kidos. we bbq and the boys played a little football. how blessed am i to have such a great family

did you know...

that you can go to Disneyland for free on your birthday!!!! you say you already have a season pass, no problem, they will give you a gift card worth the price of your ticket. sweet huh. also if you go to California adventures on your b-day and you take the mission tortilla tour you get a 1/2 dozen fresh tortillas.

kids say the funniest things

so i thought i would blog every funny thing my kids say (starting today) for two reasons: 1) i they say the funniest things 2) i have a really bad memory and i want to always remember what they say

well my bridgitte must be on a role or something, today she asked "mom, are you a girly girl or a home boy???" she meant to say " mom are you are girly girl or a tom-boy??"

today i took the kids to go see inkhart. i was sitting next to my bridgitte and this is what happened

bridgitte said "mom he was a bad guy and know he is not, why??

i said "umm i dont know"

a long pause

bridgiite said " he must of read Gods word"

awww she always melts my heart


tonight (2-24-09) i was tucking my son into bed. he asked me if i could leave baby tyler ( the baby i babysit) in the office while i took him to class. i said no and he told me " your not nice in my book". too cute

easy bake

my daughter got a easybake oven for christmas this year so we decided to make a cake. here it is





let me tell you friends, just use a real cake mix and a real oven. it was a mess. it took twice the time it said if would to make and it smelled up the whole house, and it wasnt the smell that you are thinking of when you think of cake, it was more like burning rubber, but it all worked out becasue a few days latter we were blessed with these
