It’s amazing how going from one room to another can clear your head a bit. All of team waymire is asleep this night before 4th of July so I headed out side to my nice and clean backyard. So this is what has been happening at our house.
• Brian and I got to go on a date last night. We went to the orchird and it was yummy. It was great being able to talk to him without one of our little blessings running in saying that they need something. With that being said, I really need to find a way where we can have one-on-one time on a daily basis. With my mind jammed packed with homeschooling stuff, I don’t wont him to feel neglected.
• Our church has VBS this coming week and I am super excited.
• I have not been doing so well with my daily reading.. enough said
• My mom will be home for a visit at the end of the month
• I am truly grateful for my healthy loved ones.
• I need to finish the final draft of our trip to Yellowstone blog.
• I am truly grateful for my friends. Tonight my Kier called me from “Spirt West Coast” and she put her cell phone up to the speakers so I could hear “Amazing Love” by mercy me live. The song gives my goose bumps.
• The kids are going great, they are really wanting another baby in the house but until we get going with homeschooling¸we are putting that on hold ( I am not super mum for crying out load ).
• Iam trying really hard to get a system going for our days. Last week went pretty good. I had all the laundry done on Monday, dusted on Tuesday, and the rest of the week is kind of a blur ; ).
Other than the busyness of life, life is good, God is great

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DONNA...

Isn’t this champagne cake pretty?? I made it all by myself….ok iam lying, but someday I WILL learn how to make a pretty cake like this. I haven’t been so good at keeping up my blog lately and so much has been happening here over at Team Waymires . This past Sunday we got to celebrate my amazing mother in law Donna. She asked for my homemade tacos ( and if I was a good blogger I would have taken a picture, but iam not, so I didn’t ) After some yummy tacos, the older kids adults played the Wii bowling.




I so love having family and friends over and I must do it more. What a great way to teach my children about hospitality.I feel so blessed to have my family and I cherish the days that we can come together just to hang out.





For there Grandmas birthday, the kids wanted to decorate the house with there own masterpieces




And of course, you can hardly leave my house without taking tons of pictures (thanks family for your patience)







After our family left we headed over to our local Camping World to pick up a cast iron dutch oven that was on sell for like $18. When we got there, the people told us that it was the skillet that was $18. What a bummer, we raced down there for no reason. Oh well, I think it got us all pretty excited for our upcoming Yellowstone trip. Ill post more updates soon..xoxo..

A few updates from the last few months

I can’t believe that January is almost gone, where the heck does time go. I wanted to post some Christmas pictures and some other fun things that we have been doing the last few months, so here we go...



Disneyland at Christmas time is my favorite, its decorated to the T






My Aunt Kelly was able to come out from Charleston earlier in December, it was great seeing her and iam glad the kids got to meet her (again). My other auntie has a tradition of having an "open house" several days before Christmas. It’s a great way to see friends and family during the craziest month of the year







After we the kids and I got home from our Aunties, my Brother stayed the night with us since Brian was out of town. The boys had a great time eating pizza and staying up watching movies and playing Wii



Brian came home from Hume Lake with a bag full of snow... perfect for a snowball fight

Our friends from Arizona came to town so the Butts were kind enough to open there house for a get together... I looove these people.......








Donna and I did tons of baking this year, and we had lots of help too






Tj's kindergarten class got to do a Christmas performance in front of the whole school. They sang " I want a hippopotamus for Christmas" and they did a great job. Thank you to the Kindergarten team for putting on a great show




We had a great Christmas this year. The kids got tons of things, but I think the best part was those little moments when we got to sit back and realize how blessed we are with great family and friends. A few of those moments include showing up to Christmas Eve service and finding a envelope that was addressed to the " Waymire kids". Inside were 3 certificates that said that they ( my kids) were caught being good and what a blessing they were to the church family. As if that wasn’t a blessing in its self, there were also 3 gift cards in there for them. Another moment I won’t forget was when my little brother came over on Christmas day. Not only did he spoil the heck out of my kids, he gave Brian and Xbox 360 and then took me aside, gave me a VERY generous gift and then told me " That I was mommy of the year" and for me to go do something nice for myself. Thanks Bo.

After a fun filled night of bringing in the New Year, we were off to the Desert for the weekend
